South Africa - The Battlefields May to October 2007!!
Visit the sites of great battles from the Boer War on horseback - a wonderful ride. The 5 day program starts at Durban, we visit the battlefield sites of Rourke's Drift, Isandlhwana, Talana, Elandslaagte and Spioenkop. A remarkable experience.
Australia for the experienced rider!!
There is a golden opportunity to ride at Tooraweenah - with the Champions at their home. You certainly need to have your riding basics in place to enjoy these riding opportunities on the wonderful horses at Tooraweenah. You can be accommodated with the family, in their on site campervan or at the local pub - enjoy the wide open country of Western NSW and your wonderful hosts. Their vast experience and long line of endurance successes and great knowledge which they are happy to share, will warm any rider's heart. It goes without saying that the horses are the best you will find to conquer the surrounding hills and plains. They are bred for it - they are trained for it! Available dates will be posted soon.
What a great opportunity! Want to train for a 40 or 80km endurance ride? Here is your chance and what a chance! Ride with many times champions, at Tooraweenah NSW, at the site of one of Australia's most challenging endurance courses! You will receive tuition and the chance to enter the offical training rides. You can enter in either the 40 or 80 km section of the training rides/qualifyers. It will be made so easy for you. Camping with your horse and other competitors, experience the atmosphere, excitement and fun, have total back-up and strapper assistance on the day, even sleeping bag is provided and most importantly you will have a horse fit and ready to excell!. All you need to do is come and ride! Of course you are expected to do your share of horse care and grooming, that is part of it all.
